We are a small independent business based in Castle Donington, Leicestershire .

Our Focus

We provide Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy for children and teenagers, adults and couples.

What We Offer

As experienced trainers, we offer Mental Health First Aid Training accredited by Mental Health First Aid England, as well as bespoke training packages for businesses regarding employee welfare and mental health.

Anyone can attend counselling; you don’t need to have a diagnosis from a G.P. Many people start counselling because they “feel that their life is a mess”, “they are feeling anxious or low” or more serious matters such as getting help with a recent bereavement or life-changing event.


Often clients feel that they benefit from the opportunity

Often clients feel that they benefit from the opportunity to discuss their life with someone impartial rather than a family member. Perhaps because they may have been feeling troubled and cannot see a clear way through their difficulty and would like support while they make the changes they want.

About Lisa Yates


Life is a journey and I bring with me not only my expertise as an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist but the skills and experiences from a 30-year teaching career in secondary schools, not to mention my personal journey of experiences too, as someone’s daughter, sister, aunt, girlfriend, wife, widow, decorator or gardener to name a few!


I hold a B. Ed (Hons), MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, as well as being a registered Instructor for Mental Health First Aid England with Level 4 Safeguarding. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and adhere to their Ethical Frameworks for working with Adults and Children and Young People (aged 4-18 years).
